Tuesday Newsday

View from the cab of a combine while harvesting corn...in April.

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I don’t know about you, but I follow too many a few blogs. Doing so, I run across some great stuff everyday.  Hence, Tuesday Newsday.  This post (and future posts) is a collection of interesting articles, posts, images, videos, etc. that I’ve stumbled upon recently.  For your enjoyment:

Kevin DeYoung’s blog post, ‘Just for Fun’ – This post made me actually laugh-out-loud: “…She acted like I looked her square in the eye and punched her grandma…

Chase Jarvis’ blog post on workflow – I’ve struggled with setting a solid workflow for processing my images/video.  This is gonna help me like crazy.

David DuChemin’s blog post, ‘One of Yours, One of Mine’ – David’s got a giveaway over at his blog.  The prize?  Two canvases from Artistic Photo Canvas – one of his images, one of yours.

Bill Fortney’s blog post, ‘It Doesn’t Fly Anymore with Me………’ – Bill’s blog is one of the few that look forward to reading each day.  There’s some great wisdom for living in this post.

Larry Becker’s blog post on ‘cheating’ and photography – Larry makes some excellent points here on just what the process of editing images is.

Scott Kelby’s blog post, ‘Behind the Scenes at a Major Photo Shoot’ – This is a great BTS look at shooting at a pro sports event.  Scott’s blog is another that I look forward to each day.

Well, all blog posts for today.  If you aren’t checking in regularly on the blogs above, start doing so today.  You won’t regret it!

That’s it for today.  Have a great rest of the day!

Hey Logan, I love this photo. Is it some kind of farming equipment? I like the way you took it to black and white, very nice.

      Hey Mike,
Thanks! Yes, I’m sitting in the cab of my father-in-law’s combine looking down at the corn header in action.
Thanks for the kind words on the image!
